The way we eat can massively impact the world for good. Food can bring us together and nourish body, mind and community, while agriculture is the only major industry that can not only neutralise its effects on the environment, but actively reverse damage and regenerate our world.

Since 2009, Food Connect Foundation have been hard at work behind the scenes of the fair food movement - partnering with research institutions to look at the climate and social impacts of food systems, and activating and supporting social enterprises and grassroots food projects to harness the power of communities and create a fair food future. But with the pressing issues of social isolation, cost of living, climate threats and more, we’re gearing up to make more noise and shake the system further.

With your help, we can really ramp up our work towards regional systems where everyone has access to fresh, healthy food that’s fair on eater, grower and the planet.

You can make a tax deductible donation to the Food Connect Foundation through our friends at the Sustainable Table so we can keep our boots on the ground, bolstering community projects and pushing for change.

You’ll be helping programs like:

  • Our food hub replication initiatives - working with communities around Australia to establish ethical, collaborative value-chain based food hubs that nurture growers and eaters.

  • Buyers groups project - equipping more families and neighbourhoods with a range of resources, workshops and support to start and maintain bulk buyers groups for better access to affordable, healthy food

  • The Salisbury Mill - forming a new local grain economy that invests in ecological farmers and native foods, while giving bakers and home cooks access to fresh, flavourful ingredients.
