Food Connect First Nations Bushfire Fundrais

On Saturday 15th February  Food Connect Foundation will hold a bushfire fundraising event to raise funds and awareness for affected Indigenous Communities. The event will comprise of all Indigenous markets, food, workshops, entertainment and a special keynote presentation from Leeton Lee, Director of Firesticks Alliance on the importance of Cultural Burning and our government's responsibility to better inherit these traditional Land preservation practises.

The afternoon will consist of all Indigenous food, art, workshops and entertainment with a special Block Party! curated by Busty from international touring sensation Hot Brown Honey. All funds raised from the event will be directly given to Community Elders and Representatives and even distributed between Communities. 

This will be a great day out for the whole family with activities for everyone including singers, dancers, fire and boomerang workshops and more!
